2020 Was Rough for Everyone
As you can clearly see by the picture above, 2020 was a tough year for me as well. Lockdowns and quarantines had me permanently sofa bound, unwilling to do anything productive whatsoever. My boredom was placated mostly by ordering various high caloric foods on DoorDash.
I had ballooned up to a weight I told myself I would never see again which was above 240 pounds. At the beginning of 2020 I was a little under 240 pounds and had worked my way down to as low as 214 pounds before I completely fell off the wagon for what seemed like the billionth time in my life. I always seemed to get myself down to a respectable weight using some sort of restrictive diet, usually the ketogentic diet, and then I would completely go off the rails and binge all of the foods that I had been craving while on the diet and before you knew it I had lost all willpower and ballooned back up to where I was before I even started the diet.
I was resigned to this vicious cycle of weight loss and gain pretty much for the rest of my life. I believed the urban myths about your body having a set point it needed to weigh, based on your family history or whatever other bullcrap I read on the internet. Then I finally decided to get properly educated and adopted a way of eating that was sustainable and supported my goals.
Here are a few of the things that I eat on a daily basis
All of these things, plus a bag of Orville Redenbacher SmartPop (240 calories for entire bag) add up to less than 2100 calories and around 200 grams of protein. I can eat all of these things every day and LOSE BODY FAT.
If this way of eating in order to achieve your body composition goals interests you, I can be your 1 on 1 coach and guide you through the entire process and cut down on hundreds of hours of work that I've already put in.Book a free 1-on-1 coaching consulation
